Jeanette G. Strumbos

Jeanette G. Strumbos age 81 of Troy, passed away at her residence on Monday, June 5, 2023, while surrounded by her loving family.  She was born the daughter of Odell & Dorothy (Norrod) Garrison on July 17, 1941, in Cookeville, Tennessee.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Glenn Strumbos in 2020; grandson Jonathan Milligan; daughter Sandra Wilson; son Jonny Spencer; sister Janice Moore.  Jeanette is survived by her daughter Lisa (Bruce) Sizemore of Vandalia; son Stephen Spencer of Georgia; stepdaughter Glenna Milligan of Franklin; brothers Jessie & Jim Garrison; sisters Jeanelle Baker; grandchildren Kenny (Nannette) Jones, & Haley (Matthew) Donachy; great grandchildren Deseree, Sarah, Addison, Angela, Alyssa, & Matthew; special niece Judy James; several nieces, nephews, & a host of friends.  Jeanette was a loving mamaw, mom, sister, & friend.  She will be missed by all of those who love her. Jeanette enjoyed crocheting, sewing, quilting, & tending to her flower gardens. Her favorite time of year was the Christmas season, the family will fondly remember her famous buckeyes, homemade fudge, & the hats & scarves she made for them.    Friends may call on Monday, June 12, 2023, from 11AM – 12PM at RICHARDS, RAFF, & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio where a funeral service will begin at 12PM with Pastor Ken Majors officiating.   Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery of Dayton.  Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com
