Jean Hunt

Hunt, Jean, 82 of Springfield passed away September 13, 2017 in her residence. She was born in Hustead, Ohio on March 23, 1935, the daughter of Charles and Ruth Winkhart. Jean and her husband Dean owned and operated D & J Concessions. Jean loved playing cards and board games, gardening and working outside, dancing, reading her bible, going to the beach and visiting with family and friends. Jean also enjoyed watching and going to see the Cincinnati Reds, going to the park to feed the ducks. She touched so many people’s lives and was called her mom by everyone. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dean M. Hunt; step-son Larry Hunt; brothers Charles and Ralph and sisters Maxine and Irene. Survivors include her daughters Sandra Hayes, Ashley (Bob) Licano and Mariesa (Wayne) Beraux; twin sister Joan Clay; thirteen grandchildren including Kathryn Hayes; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Services to honor Jean will be Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with visitation beginning at 10:30AM.
