Jason C. Howell, a beloved father, son, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the age of 55. Born in Wheeling, West Virginia, on February 24, 1971, Jason was raised in a loving family, living a full life grounded in love, hard work, and dedication to his family and community. He is survived by his devoted mother and stepfather, Rosemary and Shane Newell, who have been a constant source of love and support throughout his life. Jason was a proud and loving father to his three children: son Brady Howell and his wife Lauren, and daughters Emma Howell and her partner Brian Morgan, and Katie Howell. He was the cherished grandfather of Emilia, Harper, Haisley, and Arlo, who adored him and will miss his joyous spirit. Jason was preceded in death by his father, James D. Howell, and his paternal and maternal grandparents, the Libertores and the Kirschs, whose memories he carried with him throughout his life. A graduate of Bellaire High School, Jason pursued a career in construction, where he excelled as a Construction Superintendent. His dedication to his craft and work ethic was admired by colleagues and employees alike. Jason had a zest for life and a deep love for the outdoors. An avid fisherman and camper, he cherished the tranquility of nature. He was a loyal fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes football team, proudly cheering them on with friends and family. Above all, Jason treasured spending time with his children and was a devoted attendee of their sporting events, always supporting them with enthusiasm and pride. Jason’s vibrant spirit and unwavering love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be profoundly missed by all the lives he touched.
