Janet L. Mowell

Mowell, Janet L., 85 of Springfield died October 10, 2019 in the Hearth & Home on El Camino. She was born in Sidney, Ohio on August 26, 1934, the daughter of Robert W. and Marcella B. Good. Janet was in real estate for many years, but she so enjoyed cooking, playing cards, camping, traveling doing crafts and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Ronald, James, Robert and Wilbert Good; sisters Rocklyn Goodbiddle, Phyllis Palmer, Lilly May Sotherland and Joyce Pierson. Survivors include her husband George Mowell, whom she married June 2, 1973; children Linda (Mark) Bates, Georgia (Gregg) Gertsler, Jim (Patti) Mowell and David (Barbara) Mowell; sister Lois Ewers; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7PM in the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home. Services to honor Janet will be Wednesday at 11:00AM in the Memorial Home. Burial to follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
