James Wesley Burns

James Wesley Burns, 66, of New Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026. He was the son of the late John and Rita Burns. He was a member of the 1977 class at Tecumseh High School. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother John Burns. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Beverly Burns, nieces, and great-nephews. He will be laid to rest at Millidgeville Plymouth Cemetery near Washington Court House with his parents and brother. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 1:00 pm. The family would like to thank the Flora Home and Villa Nursing and Rehab for their fine care of Jim over the years. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
