James Edward Swayne

Swayne, James Edward, 42 of South Charleston passed away Oct 21, 2017 in the OSU Medical Center. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on April 19, 1975, the son of Alan Kent and Karen Kay Swayne, Sr. Jim was a 1993 graduate of Northeastern High School. He owned and operated the Swayne’s Forestry Company. He was a friend to many and enjoyed playing cards and going to the races with his buddies. His greatest love was spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; paternal and maternal grandparents; numerous Aunts and Uncles and Brother-in-law Survivors include his wife Nicole (Hooten) Swayne; children Hunter, Corbin, and Huyana Swayne, Trey Smith and Iziah Henery; brother Alan (Amber) Swayne, Jr.; sister Faith Swayne; Aunt Marie (Austin) Chesshir; Uncle Paul (Wanita) Swayne; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Services to honor Jim will be Friday at 11:00AM in the Memorial Home.
