JAMES L. RUCKER



86, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Monday, October 16, 2017. He was born May 7, 1931 in Christiansburg, Ohio the son of the late Irvin & Margaret (Snyder) Rucker. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, he worked for Dick Brothers Construction and later he and his brother, Victor, opened together a business of building and remodeling. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Evelyn Rucker; a daughter, Michelene (Rick) Nowak; grandchildren, Emily & Lewis Rucker; three step grandchildren, Connie, David, Robert Nowak; great grandchildren, Hagan & Anthony; two brothers, Mike & Mark Rucker; a sister, Marta Stalder; other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Anthony Rucker; two brothers Victor & Wayne Rucker; a sister, Anna Wolfenbarger. Visitation will be 11-12 noon Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with funeral services at 12 noon in the funeral home. Burial will be in Upper Honey Creek Cemetery.
