James Rouch age 80 of Roseville passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 2, 2023, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. He was born the son of John & Vera (Owen) Rouch on August 4, 1943, in Springfield, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Carol Rouch in May; grandson Dominic Downour; sisters Joanne Bostick, & Judy Jenkins; brothers Bobby Rouch, Billy Rouch, & Jack Rouch. James is survived by his beloved daughters Tracy (Richard) Rush of Roseville, & Heather (Steve Wells) Rouch of Roseville; grandchildren Amanda (Nick Anderson) Rush, Miranda (Chris May) Oren, Ceairra (Landon) Fox, Jimmy Longsdorf, Chad Morgan, Stephen Morgan, Brandon Morgan, & Kaylie Morgan; 13 great grandchildren; special friends Carla Gant & Bill “Little Bill” Berridge. James was a loving dad, grandpa, & friend. He will be missed by all of those who love him. James proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. After completing his military service James became a “Jack of all trades” working as a truck driver, welder, amongst other things. Along with his late wife Carol, James owned & operated Windy Acres Riding Stables. In his spare time, he enjoyed tinkering in the garage, & working on cars, especially his beloved Cadillac. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, from 11AM – 1PM at RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio. Interment to follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
