James A. Reardean

James A. Reardean, 84, of Springfield, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 15, 2026. He was born on October 1, 1941, in Springfield, the son of the late Harold and Helen Reardean. Jim graduated from Southeastern High School in 1959. He retired from Navistar after 30 years of service. He is survived by his five children, Bob (Barbara) Reardean, Scott (Lori) Reardean, Tamara (Mike) Dickey, Melissa (Danny) Sanders, and Melanie (Nick) VanHoose; ten grandchildren, James and Robbie Reardean, Michael and Brian Dickey, Jonathan Reardean, Chad Sanders, Cortney Catanzaro, Brandon, Kyle, and Kamy VanHoose; and 10 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Nancy Reardean; daughter, Melinda Travis; and granddaughter Leighanne Reardean. Visitation will be from 11 am to 12 pm, Wednesday, January 21, 2026, with service to follow at 12 noon at RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Rev. Orbie Estep officiating.
