James Logan High Jr.

James Logan High Jr., age 36, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025. He was born the son of James L. High Sr. & Cynthia Hall on May 28, 1989, in Dayton, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather & grandmother, Kay & Dave; and his grandmother, Linda. He is survived by his parents; stepmother Angela High; son James Logan High III & his mother Jaide Smith; daughter Brylee Faith High & her mother Sarah McCallister; paternal grandparents Terry & Sharon High; sisters Brandy Webb, Claudia (Stephen) Burnell, Jordin Hall & Taylor High; nieces Brinley & Makenna, nephews, Jaxon & Keegan, along with numerous extended family members & friends. Jimmy was a devoted father who cherished every moment spent with his children. A gathering of Friends & Family will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 5PM – 7PM at TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 507 W. Jefferson St., New Carlisle, Ohio 45344, where a Memorial Service will be held at 7 PM with Pastor Ken Majors officiating. Immediately following the service, the family would like to extend an invitation to join them at New Carlisle Heritage Hall for a meal & fellowship.
