JAMES E.HADDIX, SR.

89, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Monday, July 18, 2016. He was born September 22, 1926 in Perry County, Kentucky the son of the late Louis & Susie (Lawson) Haddix. He was a U.S. Navy WWII veteran and retired from Suburban Motor Freight. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jean Haddix; a son, James E. Haddix, Jr.; a daughter, Sharon Upton; seven grandchildren, Michelle, (Brian), Mindy (Brent), Julie (John), Jill (Sean), Nathan, Aaron, Brandon Ross; great grandchildren; great great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two daughters, Pamela Ann Wilkins & Patricia Lynn Luckett. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery.
