James Michael Ferryman

Ferryman, James M. 58 of Springfield died October 3, 2016 in his residence. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on September 3, 1958, the son of Clarence and Sarah Ferryman. Jim retired from Tech II with 30 years of service as the head of plant maintenance, having started with them in a garage. He enjoyed playing basketball and football until age caught up to him and he started playing golf. Jim will be sadly missed by his family and was welled loved. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Rita Ferryman and Carolyn Evans. Survivors include his children Ashley (Jason Nay) Ferryman-Breneman and Shane (Tara Frost) Ferryman; brother Robert Ferryman; sisters Bonnie Ferryman, Betty Johnson, Jenny Caudwell and Patty Sickels; grandchildren J.D., Jr., Shane Michael, Breeze and Nolan; four nephews Kevin, Curt, Michael and Stephen. Services to honor Jim will be Saturday at 2:00PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Rev. John V. Ware officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00PM.
