James Leroy Brown

James Leroy Brown (Bud) age 70, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in Springfield Ohio after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 1, 1947 in Urbana, Ohio to Roy L. Brown and Lula Mae (Allen) Brown. He married his soulmate Darlene L. (Phillips) Brown on December 1, 1973 in Springfield. He is survived by his wife Darlene, brother Daniel B. Brown (Darlene Isaacs Brown), sister Joyce Ann, two sons, James Allan Brown (Jodi L. Brown) and Kenneth Gregory Brown. As well as friend of the family, Carol Wiggins, two god children, Joseph Wiggins and Sara Lowe, several cousins, his three Rottweiler’s Katie, Sadie, and Tara. They were very special to him. He spent a number of years delivering heating oil to customers of Bonded and Speedway all over Ohio. He was a role model to many showing that a hard working caring man still existed in this world and could make something of themselves. He will always be remembered for being a loving Husband to his wife, a devoted father to his sons who were as proud of him as he was of them, and a caring brother to Daniel who he shared so many memories with. He touched many people in his lifetime because of his caring personality and loving heart over the years. He will be truly missed but never forgotten……….Private Family services will be held as family comes into town to remember the memory of this great man.
