Jack C. Farrell, 94, a lifelong resident of the Burlington Graham, North Carolina area passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016 in Springfield, OH. She was born December 22, 1921 in Burlington the daughter of Carl and Beatrice (Isley) Coble Wood and was reared by her mother and step father Handy Wood. Jack was employed by numerous hosiery mills in the Burlington Graham region all her working life and was a member of the Swepsonville Baptist Church. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Michael G. and Connie Farrell of Yellow Springs, OH; two sisters Betty Vaughn of Swepsonville, NC, and Nell Rudisill of Titusville, FL; two grandchildren Justin Farrell and Molly (Eric) Leckey; two great grandchildren Truman and Tate Leckey; several nieces and nephews, including two who were special to her, Carrie Fogleman and Jenny Ayers. She was preceded in death by her parents; step father; husband; sisters Alice Newlin and Mildred Roberson; and brother George "Buck" Coble.
