Jack L. Conley, 67, of Springfield passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 following several years of illness. He was born November 22, 1949 in Waynes, MO the son of Charles D. and Naomi (Edwards) Conley and was a 1967 graduate of South High School. Jack served in the United States Army from 1967-69 including a tour of duty in Vietnam. He retired from Navistar with over thirty years service and served as Union Steward for UAW Local 402. Jack became an ordained minister in the Universal Life Church and performed many weddings. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Brenda (Givens) Conley; his father of Springfield; daughters Teresa Conley (Tom Camp) and Melissa Conley (Johnny Riley) of Springfield, and Andrea Givens (Shawn Keating) of Xenia; son Jack Conley (Tracy Brewer) of Springfield; sisters Bonnie (Dave) Crummie and Lori (John) Krugh of Springfield, and Melody Jo (Chuck) Kucharski of Fairborn; brother Dennis Conley of Springfield; nine grandchildren Dustin, Brooke, Tiffany, Stephanie, Brandon, Logan, Michala, Jordan and Jared; ten great grandchildren with two on the way; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother; brother Dean Conley and granddaughter Tara. Visitation will be Thursday from 12 noon - 2 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The service to honor Jack’s life will be Thursday at 2:00 PM. in the Memorial Home with Rev. Thomas Chapman officiating.
