Jack K. "Kenny" Banks

Jack K. “Kenny” Banks, 76, of New Carlisle, OH, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born April 2, 1949, in Whitesburg, KY, the son of the late Jack and Vera Banks. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Tonia “Tonk” Sue Banks; children Kim (Terry) Bennett, John (Melissa) Banks, Austin (Madelyn) Banks, and Brice Adkins; 6 grandkids Ashliey (Ben) Randall, T.J. (Alyse) Bennett, Brittany (Andrew) Bennett, Ashlynn (Michael) Doench, Hailey (Alex) Banks, and Kaleb Banks; 11 great-grandkids Ranger, Lee, Josh, R.J., Corbin, River, Emmylou, Mabel, Bronson, Alex, and Izzy, who will forever hold him in their hearts; special niece Carolina (Austin) Owens. Though he has left this world the love he gave remains steady and unshakable forever. Jack retired from General Motors after 33 ½ years, as a skilled trade Tool & Die Maker. Jack was a quiet soul with a heart full of love and a hard-working devoted loving father, husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His love was constant and unconditional. He had a special way of making people feel accepted just as they were, offering warmth and comfort in even the smallest moments. He was a man of strength and simplicity who found joy in life’s quieter blessings. Jack believed in doing right by others in loving without limits. He loved being on his tractor and mowing his lawn. He enjoyed spending time with his family and visiting his grandkids and great-grandkids. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 10am-12pm with the service to honor Jack beginning at 12:00pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.
