Irene Naomi Kitchen

Kitchen, Irene Naomi, 91 of Springfield passed away December 28, 2018 in her residence. She was born in Morrow, Ohio on February 13, 1927, the daughter of Arthur and Anna Fritts. She retired as a Bailiff with the Clark County Common Pleas Court with over 30 years of service. Irene was also known as an accomplished painter. Survivors include her grandson Major James Kitchen, Jr. US Army and wife, Alana, great grandchildren Henry, William, Poppy and Maisy Kitchen; brother Robert Fritts; sister-in-law Phyllis Favorite; several very special and much loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved son James W. Kitchen, Sr.; brother Harold "Nino" Fritts; sister-in-law Doris Fritts; nephew Stephen Harold "Peabody" Fritts. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Miami Valley Hospice; and Sharon Schantz; Dennis & Teresa Fritts who cared for Irene. Services to honor Irene will be Friday, January 4, 2019 AT 11:00AM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Family and friends will call from 10:00AM until time of services.
