Herman E. Crutchfield

Herman E. Crutchfield, 88, of Springfield passed away Monday, March 18, 2019. He was born December 11, 1930 in Ironton, OH the son of John T. and Grace (Deem) Crutchfield. Herman retired from Cascade Corporation as the Welding Department Supervisor, then worked for Remington Steel, retiring again in 1984. He was a member of Ingomar Lodge, Knights of Pythias. Herman is survived by two sons Herman Crutchfield, Jr. of South Vienna and Tom Crutchfield of Springfield; a brother-in-law Edward Sturgill of Ironton; one grandson Josh (Susan) Crutchfield; three great grandchildren Gabe and Sarah Crutchfield, and Leeoria Willis; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Lillian D. Crutchfield in 1995; daughter-in-law Arlene Crutchfield; five brothers John, Orlon, Harold, James and Harley Crutchfield; two sisters Alma Reed and Zona Campbell; and a sister-in-law Judy Sturgill. Visitation will be Friday from 5 - 8 PM. in RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The service to honor Herman’s life will be Saturday at 10:30 AM. in the Chapel at Rose Burial Park with Rev.
