Rice, Harold W., 91 of South Charleston passed away May 19, 2017 in the Oakwood Village Glaesner Center. He was born on October 7, 1925, the son of Howard and Edna Rice. He proudly served his country in the Army Air Corp during WWII as an aviation cadet. Harold retired from the Ohio Dept. of Taxation data processing department as a Supervisor with 30 years of service. He was a member of the South Charleston United Methodist Church, Fielding Lodge # 192 F & AM and the Community Club. He was proud of his involvement with many others in the development of the Community Park in South Charleston. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting. golf and especially mushroom hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother and sister-in-law Lowell and Jean Rice. Survivors include his wife of 68 years Wanda Rice; sons Dale (Betsy) Rice and Ron(Chris) Rice; grandchildren Clint (Dear) Rice, Lindy (Brad) Dulle, Melissa (Josh) Gonglik and Jason (Christine) Rice; great-grandchildren Tara & C.J. Rice, Anna & Sidney Dulle and Jacob & Hailey Gonglik; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Services to honor Harold will be Monday at 1:00PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Pastor Jeff Smalley officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00AM.
