Glenn A. Stinson, a beloved member of the Pickerington and Springfield communities, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 9th, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on Friday, August 8th, 1930, in Springfield, Ohio, Glenn lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love. A resident of Pickerington, Ohio, Glenn was predeceased by his cherished wife, Jennie L. Stinson, his father, George R. Stinson, his mother, Zena Gray Stinson, his brother Robert Stinson, and his sister Martha Stinson. Glenn is survived by his devoted son, Rodger A. Stinson, and daughter-in-law, Tricia B. Stinson, both of Pickerington, Ohio. He was a proud grandfather to Benjamin A. Stinson. Glenn also leaves behind special friends Barney, Carolyn, Steve Lykins and Amanda Kantor along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends who enriched his life. Professionally, Glenn contributed significantly as a Data Analyst at International Harvester, where he began his career in 1950. His work ethic and analytical skills were highly respected and revered by his colleagues. A proud Marine, Glenn served his country with honor and dedication. His commitment to service extended beyond his military career as he became a longtime member of the First Christian Church of Springfield and later joined the Northside Christian Church community. Glenn's interests were varied and included a passion for golf and spending quality time with his family. After retiring, he spent cherished winters as a "snowbird" in Venice, Florida, where he enjoyed the warmer climate and camaraderie with others. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at a visitation to be held at Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home in Springfield, Ohio, on Saturday, July 25th, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. This will be followed by a memorial service at 12:30 pm at the same location, celebrating Glenn's remarkable life. Expressions of sympathy and cherished memories of Glenn A. Stinson may be shared at trostelchapman.com. His warmth, wisdom, and kindness will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Fairhope Hospice & The Springs at Wyandot Trail for the excellent care received during this difficult time.
