Georgia Delphena Adams

Adams, Georgia Delphena, 84 of Springfield passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at Wooded Glen Nursing and Rehab on Saturday, February 8, 2020. She was born April 21, 1935 in Broad Top, PA to Clyde and Anna Smith. Georgia lived a long and happy life. She was a nurse for over 30 years, raised many kids, loved baking, crocheting, reading and being with her kids and grandkids. In her spare time she loved feeding all the animals that came to her porch. Georgia never met a stranger and treated everyone like family. She had three sisters Musa Meosky, Nadine Lanee and Anna Mae Smith; one brother Anan Smith; husband of 35 years Carl Adams; daughter Carla Delphena Diller; and granddaughter Chelsea Dowler who preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons Thomas Weyandts, Andrew (Paula Potter) Caroppoli, David Caroppoli, Anthony Caroppoli, Joseph (Kristine) Caroppoli, Paul Adams and John Adams; grandkids David Caroppoli, Ashley Caroppoli, Jason Caroppoli, Andrea Caroppoli, Jessica Flora, Tiffany Delphena (Steven) Osborne, Katrina Bryan, John Bryan, Megan (Tommy Smith) Diller, Carrie (Dakota Lynch) Diller, Jasmine Adams, Quinn Adams, Jacob Caroppoli, Jaimie Dowler, Tyler (Sarah) Dowler, Krista Adams, Joe (Brittany Burk) Adams, Kimberly (Jacob Hauter) Martini; great-grandkids Isabella Delphena Osborne, Jason Lynch, David Caroppoli, Cecilia Caroppoli, Jorden Williams, Izaiah Weems, Annabelle Adams, Kaiden Sexton, Wyatt Hauter, Jeremy Self, Kayden Self and Jeaven Dowler. Memorial services to honor Georgia will be Wednesday, February 19, 2020 in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Pastor Bobby Hile of Southgate Baptist Church officiating.
