George A. Gaston

George A. Gaston 68, of New Carlisle passed away on March 13, 2025. He was born to the late George M. Gaston and Frances L. Kimmey on March 26, 1956. He graduated from Tecumseh High School, Class of 1974. George was a mason by trade and a member of the Bricklayers Union Local #23. He has been a faithful Jehovah’s Witness for many years. He loved riding his Harley, it was his wind therapy. He was a devoted papaw and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He spent a lot of time taking care of the horses at the farm. He will be missed by all those who knew him despite being deemed a “grouchy old man”. He is survived by his wife Wanda Gaston of 27 years; children Naomi (Todd) Burton, George B. (Sharon) Gaston, Ashley (Andy) Hansgen, Buck (Shannon) Brown, & Amy (Eric) Thornton; grandchildren, Taylor, Sydney, Rachel, Skyler, Jada, Mariah, Shania, Alyiah, Caroline, JoJo, Zayden; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Lakelynn; sibling, Cathy (Mark) Spencer, Steve (Donna) Gaston & Danny (Kelly) Kimmey; step-dad Richard Kimmey, and many other relatives and friends.
