Geneva Irene Jones

Geneva Irene Jones, 83, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021. She was born on July 18,1937 in Waverly, OH, the daughter of the late John and Emma Frazier. Geneva was a hard worker and ran her own home cleaning business for many years. She was loved by all her children, brothers and sisters and will be dearly missed. Geneva is preceded in death by her husband Joe Currey; daughters Shelby Baumgardner and Carolyn Violet; and a grandson Joseph Baumgardner. She is survived by her daughters Virginia (Robert) Hatfield, Bonnie Hatcher and Tina (Joe) Valerio; sons Mikeal (Lisa) Thomas and Pearl Randy (Linda) Thomas; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The funeral to honor Geneva will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 12:00 PM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM at Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home.
