Geneva Cate

Geneva Bentley Cate, 74 of New Carlisle went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. Geneva was born on July 2, 1946 to the late Herbert & Ines Bentley. She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Cate and several brothers and sisters. Geneva leaves behind three children, Johnny (Lori) Bush, Eugene (Candy) Bush, Kathy (Mike) Brewer, Athina Patrick, and Nichi (David) Baker. Geneva’s 13 grandchildren were her world. Geneva had six grandsons, Shane, Paul, Cole, Nathan, Jesse, and Josh; seven granddaughters, Brittany, Jennifer, Atosha, Jessica, Cali, Morgan & Kayla; eight great grandchildren, with one on the way. Geneva is also survived by four brothers Moses, James, Daniel & Vonnie; three sisters Bernice, Renda & Glenda; Harry Stifler a dear and loving friend; and many "favorite" nieces & nephews. Geneva loved playing "BINGO" helping with fundraising events, and bluegrass music. Geneva’s feisty, funny personality, and "photo ops" will be missed by all. Visitation will be Friday, July 24, 2020 from 12-1pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, with the service to follow at 1 pm. Burial will take place at Enon Cemetery.
