GARY L. FRALEY

age 70, of Troy, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at his residence. He was born on May 9, 1948 in Sandy Hook, KY the son of the late Stanley and Emma Jean (Carter) Fraley. Gary proudly served his country as a member of the US Army with two tours of duty in Vietnam, where he was awarded 3 purple hearts and recommended for the Bronze Star for Valor. Gary was a past member of Springfield V.F.W. and retired from Purex Corporation in London, Ohio. Gary is survived by two sons: Jerrimy Fraley of Troy and Gary Lee Scott (Angie) Fraley Sr. of Springfield; a sister: Connie & Neil Bales of Nolansville, Tennessee; a brother: Larry & Karen Fraley, Springfield; five grandchildren: Holden Fraley, Antonia Fraley, Sherenda Fraley, Jackie Fraley and Gary Lee Scott Fraley Jr; and five great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one a brother: Jeffrey Fraley and a one grandson: Timothy Aaron Swyers.
