Gary Lee Deatherage

Gary Lee Deatherage, 71, of New Carlisle, passed away June 4, 2021, at Vancrest of New Carlisle. He was born April 17, 1950, in Dayton, the son of the late Howard and Phyllis Deatherage. Gary will be greatly missed by his family and the many friends he has at Vancrest that he considered family. He genuinely enjoyed life and always had a smile for everyone he met. Gary is preceded in death by his parents; brother Roger Deatherage; daughters Michelle Smith and Ashley Rader. He is survived by his children Eric Deatherage, Crista Black, Tracee Deatherage, Tina Deatherage-Martinez and Darrell (Constance) Deatherage; sister Karen Deatherage; brother and sister-in-law John and Charissa Deatherage; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The funeral to honor Gary will he held Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM.
