Francis A. Pennington

Francis A. Pennington, 66, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020. He was born November 26, 1953 in Springfield, the son of the late George and Joan Pennington, Sr. Francis worked as a landscaper for over 40 years in the Sarasota area. He is a U.S. Army Veteran, loved to ride motorcycles, listen to bluegrass and watch classic movies. Francis is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sons Gary (Michelle) Pennington and Joshua Rodeck; daughter Molly Pennington; sisters Jerri (Jeff) Taylor, Donna (Jim) Haulman and Delores Maynard; brother George (Dianna) Pennington; Alexander, Anneliese, Carter and Collin Pennington; numerous nieces and nephews. Francis was cremated per his wishes and a memorial service will be held at a later date this Spring. Arrangements have been entrusted to Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home.
