Cooper, Frances A., 87 of Springfield went home to be with the Lord on December 10, 2018 in her residence. She was born in Knoxville, TN on June 5, 1931, the daughter of the late John Columbus and Betty Wolfenbarger. Frances was a proud member of the First Church of the Open Bible. She was known as a very loving person, who cared deeply for her family, as well as her church family. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Clyde Cooper; son Harold Lynn Cooper and daughter Shirley K. (Birdie) Cooper. Survivors include her children Christine R. Smith; Brenda (Steve) Shartle; Joe Cooper and Larry Cooper; sister Marie Collins; grandchildren Patrick Gray, Michelle Livingston, Latisha (Gary) Gordon, Dewayne (Liz) Cooper, Jesse Cooper and Justin Cooper; eleven great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; special friends Rose Johnson and Cindy McClanahan. Her family wishes to thank Ohio Hospices for their wonderful care and compassion during this difficult time. Services to honor Frances will be Thursday at 11:00AM in the First Church of the Open Bible with Pastor Jim Ballard officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial contributions are requested to the First Church of the Open Bible C/O Children’s Ministry 644 Selma Road Springfield, Ohio 45505.
