Evelynia “Eve” Weaver-Murphy, 79, of New Carlisle, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. She was born on March 19, 1946, in Springfield, the daughter of the late Robert Johnson and Vicki Clark. Evelynia was raised in Tazewell, TN and later moved back to Ohio after graduating High School. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3491 & #4069 and Crystal Lakes Moose Lodge 2464. Evelynia was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She loved to dance, loved music, playing cards and bringing joy and laughter to any situation. Evelynia is preceded in death by her husband Paul Weaver; husband Vernald Murphy; great-grandson Peyton Eli Plumley; brother Billy Goat Johnson; and sister Peachy Parker. She is survived by her children Angelynia Weaver; Paul (Kristie Steiner) Weaver, Beverly (William) Samson, and Verlynia (Chuck Aiple) Murphy; step-children Vicki (Aaron) Gleason and Ray Stupp; brother James (Joyce) Johnson; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of life will be held on November 1, 2025, beginning at 4 PM, at the AMVETS Post 148, 11495 Lower Valley Pike, Medway, Ohio.
