Evelyn L. Jones

Jones, Evelyn L., 84 of Springfield entered Heaven’s Gate on August 1, 2018. She was born in Allen County, Ohio on June 19, 1934, the daughter of Charles D. and Gladys Martin. Evelyn was proud of her family and loved her them with all her heart. Holidays were special and she was known for the potato salad she would make (that folks could not duplicate). Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bill Jones; and son Jim Jones. Survivors include her sons Bill Jones, Casey Jones and Sam Jones; daughter Gwendolyn Jones; ten grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Services to honor Evelyn will be Monday at 1:00PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. A gathering of family and friends will begin at Noon. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
