Elaine Ann Brubaker

Elaine Ann Brubaker, 78, of New Carlisle, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018. She was born February 18, 1940 in Hamilton, OH, the daughter of the late Ross and Lillian Spinning. Elaine attended Honey Creek Presbyterian Church. She sold Avon products locally for over 30 years. Elaine's fulfillment in life was her family, focusing on the many activities of her grandchildren and making memories with them. She is preceded in death by her brother Chuck Spinning and sister Jean Adkins. Elaine is survived by her husband of 61 years Galen "Bud" Brubaker; children Don (Karen) Brubaker; Debbie Sluterbeck; Dan Brubaker and Dana Wine; brother-in-law Mark Adkins; sister-in-law Nancy Spinning; grandchildren Jennifer (Will), Dustin (Ashley), Thera (James), Adam, Daniel, Jared, Abby (Brad) and Andrew; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3-6 PM in Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home. A funeral service to honor Elaine will be Monday at 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
