EILEEN ALOYSE BASTIAN

of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away peacefully Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the age of 95. She was born October 26, 1922 in Dayton, Ohio to the late John & Louella (Bennett) Pierce. She is the lone survivor and eighth in line to 10 additional brothers & sisters. Eileen retired from Winters Bank and was a volunteer with St. Vincent DePaul and was a member at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Carlisle, Ohio. She is survived by two daughters, Pat Osterday, and Pam (Robert) Tyndall; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Eileen is preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" Bastian; a daughter, Peg Howell; two sons, Michael & Robert Thomas. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 476 N. Scott St., New Carlisle, Ohio 45344. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. A meal and a time for sharing will follow at the church. Arrangements by the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio.
