Edwin Donald Sherman

Edwin Donald Sherman, aged 62, passed away in his home in New Carlisle on October 28, 2018. Ed was born September 14, 1956 in New Brighton, PA to Donald and Dorothy (Schmidt) Sherman. He was a 1978 graduate of Penn State University. He married Mary on October 11, 1980. They have three daughters, Amy (Brad) Henderer, Beth (Chuck) Lewis, and Meghan Sherman. Ed was deeply involved with Sacred Heart Parish, and as President of St. Vincent DePaul Society. He was currently working as pro-desk manager at Home Depot in Springfield. Ed enjoyed being active around his home and would go out of his way to help those in need. He is survived by his wife and daughters, his grandchildren (Paige, Abby, Noah, Isaiah), his parents, his brother Joel (Lorraine) Sherman, and many nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held Friday, November 2, 2018 from 4pm-7pm at Sacred Heart Parish in New Carlisle Ohio. A funeral mass will be said at Sacred Heart on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:30 am. Arrangements have been entrusted to Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.
