Edna G. Durst Huber, 97, of Springfield passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018. She was born June 28, 1921 in Leon, WV the daughter of Herschel W. and Ruth L. (Barnett) Durst. Edna had been a seamstress for Miller Frock and retired from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. She was a member of Greater Grace Temple. She is survived by seven children Kathleen (Chuck Grove) Falensky, Donna (Phil) Smith, Joseph Huber, Jonathan (Tonya) Huber, Joanne (Rodney) Miller, James Huber and Craig (Mary Catherine) Huber; a sister Emma Durst Shirley; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren with two on the way; four great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald Lewis Huber; son Edward Huber; daughter Juanita Gurreri; grandson Robert Falensky; seven brothers Herby, Clyde, Ralph, Winnie, Floyd, Kenneth and William Durst; three sisters Ella Knapp, Ruth Runyan and Evelyn Smith. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 – 11 AM. in RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The service to honor Edna’s life will be held at 11:00 AM. Thursday in the Memorial Home with her nephew Pastor Wyatt Michael Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow in Vale Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com.
