Earl E. Daniels

Earl E. Daniels, 93, of Springfield passed away Friday, April 13, 2018. He was born in Left Beaver, KY, on June 25, 1924, the son of the late Mart and Etta Daniels. Earl served proudly in the U.S. Navy during WWII, retiring as Chief after 20 years and later retiring from Chrysler AirTemp. He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Joan; 2 sisters and 5 brothers. Earl is survived by his children Sue (Charles) Freese, Dayna J. Daniels and Dan (Alice) Daniels; brothers Cecil and Howard Daniels; sister Helen Schmalstig; 5 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The funeral service to honor Earl will be Tuesday at 4:00 PM with visitation beginning at 2:00 PM in Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.
