Conley, Duelas "Duke", 86 of Springfield passed away October 16, 2018 in the Ohio Masonic Home. He was born in Paintsville, KY on December 31, 1931, the son of Irvin and Nola Conley. Duke was a graduate of Flat Gap High School, Mayo State Vocational School and the Hobart Welding School. Duke served his country in the US Air Force. He was a proud member of the Beatty Freewill Baptist Church, Yellow Springs Lodge # 421 F & AM and the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, working in his garden, woodworking, watching the Cincinnati Reds and UK basketball. Duke was preceded in death by his parents; wife Ivel Conley on June 7, 2017; two sisters Faye Garland and Jeannette Salyer; brother Eugil Conley; and son-in-law Roger "Skip" Vonderheide. Survivors include his daughter Denise Vonderheide; grandsons Andrew and Benjamin Vonderheide; great-grandchild Baylee; several nieces and nephews including and special niece Wanda Estep. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with masonic services at 7:00PM. Services to honor Duke will be Saturday at 1:00PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Pastor Steve Wallace officiating. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park with military honors.
