Douglas E. Wolfe

Douglas E. Wolfe, 76, of Springfield passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born November 16, 1942 in Troy, OH the son of Clifford and Agnes (Hamilton) Wolfe and was reared by his father and stepmother Verna Wolfe. Mr. Wolfe retired from Navistar-International with 49 years of service and was a member of First Christian Church. He was an avid horseman and belonged to the Ohio Quarter Horse Association, where he served as a Ring Steward, and the Central States Horse Show Association. Doug is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sandy Wolfe; three children Marlita Rissmiller, Holly (Mark Germanos) Wolfe, and Steven Wolfe; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, stepmother, brother, sister and step sister. According to Mr. Wolfe’s wishes, there will be no services.
