DORIS E. BESS

83, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016. She was born January 31, 1933 in Clark County, Ohio the daughter of the late David & Goldy (Sullenbarger) Flory. She retired after 30 years of service from the Springfield Municipal Court. She is survived by two sons, David Bess, Mark (Machele) Bess, two grandchildren; a brother, Marvin (Ruth) Flory; two sisters, Shirley (Robert) Miller, Nancy Trubenbauch; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Pastor Kenneth Bess; daughter, Janet Bess; a brother, David Flory. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Tuesday April 12, 2016 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery.
