Donald R. Tucker

Tucker, Donald R., 72 of Springfield died March 28, 2018 in his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on October 29, 1945, the son of Charles O. and Virgie D. Tucker. He retired from Laneco with 25 years of service as the maintenance manager. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, piloting a plane, bowling, fishing, boating and riding motorcycles. Don also ran Tuckers Auto. He was a member of the Elks and Moose Clubs. Don was preceded in death by his parents; son Donny Tucker II; daughter Dereena Tucker and grandson Shane Tucker. Survivors include his wife Cindy (Pratt) Tucker, whom he married November 25, 1976; sons Todd Howard and Eric Alan Ward; granddaughter Megan Mae Ward; sister Donna Tucker; brothers David (Sharon) Tucker, Doug (Vonne) Tucker and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Services to honor Don will be Tuesday at 1:00PM in the Memorial Home with Brian Borton of First Christian Church officiating. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
