Donald Eugene Potts Jr.

Donald “Donnie” Eugene Potts, Jr., 54, of New Carlisle, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on January 31, 2026. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Donald Potts Sr. and Ellen Estridge on June 15, 1971. He owned and operated his own business, Vinyl Maxx, for many years. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He worked hard to provide for his family; in his free time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and fishing. He will be remembered by many for his generous soul, often giving more than he had. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Mandy Potts; his children, Travis (Ashlee) Potts, Bridgette (Logan) Potts, Bailey (Morgan) Potts & Aydon Potts; stepson, Austin Reed; grandchildren, Joseph, Jaxson, Kinleigh, Maddix, & Waylon; brother, James Reilley; uncle, Glen (Sherri) Potts, nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Peyton, Nora, Charlie; sister and brother in law, Angie & Shawn Geisel; cousin, Don (Kris) Brummitt; best friends Jimmy & Angie High, and his beloved dogs, Biscuit & Douglas along with many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, with the service to honor Donnie’s life to follow at 12:30 pm, all at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.
