Donald F. Miller, 73, of Cedarville, OH was promoted to Glory on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. He was born August 19, 1944 in Clifton, OH the son of Emerson and Viola (Jakeway) Miller. Donald was a graduate of Cedarville High School, where he earned numerous varsity letters in football and basketball. He worked for Vernay Laboratory and retired from Morgal Machine. Don was a member of the Salvation Army for thirty-five years and belonged to the Chamber of Commerce in Cedarville. He was a fixture at Cedarville H.S. sporting events and went to every football game, home and away. He is survived by his wife Wilma (Rigsby) Miller; sons Donnie Miller of Columbus, and Monty (Sheri) Salmons of Springfield; daughters Tonya (Philip) Smithhisler of Clifton, and Cayla (Bruce Parsons) of Jamestown; five grandchildren Ilene, Chris, Charmise, Ozzie and Olivia; five great grandchildren Rylee, Auree, Jack, Zelda and Byanca; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings, Jim, Bob, Jack, Paul, Billy, Mary and Helen Miller. Visitation will be Sunday from 6-8 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The service to honor Don’s life will be Monday at 12:00 Noon in theGrace BaptistChurch, 109 N. Main St., Cedarville, OH 45314, with Major Larry Hambrick officiating. Burial will be in North Cemetery, Cedarville. Contributions may be made in Don’s name to the Salvation Army or to the Cedar Cliff Schools Athletic Department at U.S. Bank.
