Diana L. Pillion

Diana L. Pillion, 62, of Champaign County died unexpectedly Friday, June 8, 2018 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born March 3, 1956 in Springfield the daughter of Harlan and Mary (Patton) Routzhan. Diana was a graduate of South High/ JVS and had retired as a school bus driver for Graham Local Schools with 20 years of service. Diana loved working in her flower gardens and spending time with her grandchildren, and was proud to be a "Marine Mom". She is survived by her mother of Springfield; her husband of 42 years Millard Pillion; three children Zach (Melanie) Pillion and Ashley (Ian) Grove, both of St. Paris, OH, and Cpl. Ryan Pillion serving in the United States Marine Corps; brother and sister-in-law Gary and Bunny Routzhan of Springfield; sister and brother-in-law Karen and Jim Camden of Springfield; six grandchildren Aidan, Veronica and Lydia Pillion, Ethan, Seth and Anastasia Grove; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 AM. – 1 PM. in RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The service to honor Diana’s life will be Saturday at 1:00 PM. in the Memorial Home with Pastor Don Burley officiating. Burial will follow in Terre Haute Cemetery.
