Denise "Necci" Forrest

Denise "Necci" Forrest, 66, of Springfield passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born March 24, 1951 the daughter of Troy and Virginia (Brooks) Elliott and was reared by her mother and step father Clayton Neilson. Necci was a 1969 graduate of Springfield South High and Clark County JVS. She had worked as a counselor/ unit clerk coder at Community Hospital, Madison County Hospital and the F.F. Mueller Residential Center (CCMRDD). She is survived by children Tiffany (Aaron) Fitzsimmons, Claressa Davis, Nancy (Barry) Trimble, Jeff (Ramyann) Forrest and Doug Forrest; sister Terry (Herb) Orndorff; grandchildren Bree, Leyenne, Cheyenne, Dustie, Brandy, Samantha, Katie, Colleen, Patrick, Molly, Kylee, Mackenzie, Sabrina, Logan and Ashlyn; great grandchildren Liam, Lui, Leo, Jacksen and Mia; nieces and nephews Daneen, Stacy, Jason, Brooke and Troy "Opie". She is preceded in death by her parents; step father; husband of 26 years Leo "P-Nut" Forrest; sister Brenda Mowery and brother Dick Elliott. Visitation will be Monday from 10 AM – 12 Noon in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The service to honor Necci’s life will be Monday at 12 Noon in the Memorial Home with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Burial to follow in Vale Cemetery.
