Deloris Rose Griffith

Deloris Rose Griffith, 95, of Springfield passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016 in Forest Glen. She was born July 30, 1920 in Springfield, the daughter of Walter C. and Grace (Smith) Castle. Deloris was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband William Donald Griffith; brothers Everett, Edwin and Darrell Castle; sisters Helen Smith and Harriett Thomas; and a son-in-law Ron Weaver. Deloris is survived by her son Clark (Linda) Griffith; daughters Julie Weaver, Sue (Harlan) Wigginton, Peri (Don) Schmidt and Leslie (Mitch) Crouch; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Deloris’ family would like to thank Forest Glen and Community/Mercy Hospice for their exceptional care. A funeral service to honor Deloris will be Thursday at 2:00 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME, with visitation beginning one hour prior to services.
