Deborah Jo Curlis

Deborah Jo Curlis age 65 of Springfield passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021 at The Ohio State University Medical Center. She was born the daughter of Lucian R. & Ruby (Sheets) Adams on January 28, 1956 in Springfield, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Lucian R. Adams II; father-in-law Meric A. Curlis; and brothers-in-law Jon Armentrout, & George Fetherolf. Deborah is survived by her loving husband of 40yrs., Thomas Curlis; son Meric Curlis of Cincinnati; daughters Michelle Castle of Springfield, Sara (Joey) Knisley of Springfield, Erica (Brandon) Finch of Springfield; brother Mark (Mary) Adams of Illinois; sisters Ruth Armentrout of Springfield, & Kathleen Fetherolf of S. Carolina; grandchildren Sam, Jade, Owen, Audrey, Kali, Harper, Easton, & Beckett; mother-in-law Jeanne Curlis of Sycamore, brothers-in-law David (Suzanne) Curlis of Sycamore, & Michael (Connie) Curlis of Sycamore; several nieces, nephews, & friends. Deborah was a loving wife, mother, nana, & friend. She will be missed by all of those who love her. Deborah was a fanatical Ohio State Buckeyes football fan, devoted Bengals fan, and she enjoyed working in her flower bed, but more than anything she enjoyed being a Nana & spending quality time with her family. Friends may call at Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio from 11AM -1PM on Thursday, July 22, 2021 where a funeral service will begin at 1PM. For those who cannot attend the funeral service on Thursday, it will be livestreamed on the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home FaceBook page. Interment will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 12PMat Pleasant View Cemetery in Wyandot County, Ohio.
