Myers, David Logan, 57 of Beavercreek, formerly of South Charleston, passed away August 30, 2018. He was born in Fayetteville, AR on May 9, 1961, the son of Barrett Logan and Judith Anne Myers. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in Animal Science and later received his MBA from Antioch University. David was the HR manager at Sytronics, Inc. of Beavercreek for the past 30 years and attended the Dayton Vineyard Church. David was known for his lifelong love of horses where he was passionately involved in showing and breeding straight Egyptian Arabians. He was the founder and owner of Renaissance Arabians and was also a life member of the Pyramid Society (the worldwide Egyptian Arabian authority). It was in this capacity that David found much success as an award winning showman and later as a specialized Large R judge in competitions throughout the US and in Canada. However, it was his expertise as a breeder that brought him the most satisfaction and recognition (both in the United States and overseas) in the exceptional bloodline that he developed through his prized horse, REA EL Kaream. Most important to David though were the lasting and cherished relationships he nurtured throughout his life with family and friends. His genuinely warm, kind heart, exceptional skills as a host, quick-wit, generosity, and the mutual adoration he shared with his nieces and nephews are fondly remembered by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father Barry on August 30, 2017; mother Judith Anne (Pope) Myers; brother Kenneth Ray Myers. Survivors include his mother, Carla E. Myers; sister Sonja (Steve) Johannes; brothers Scott (Christine) Myers, Steven (Debra) Myers and Chris Myers; his adorable nieces and nephews Shaun and Scott Johannes; Lauren, Allison, Keith Myers; Jacob, Emily, Julie, Dan, Jennifer Myers; Ford Myers.
