David W. “Wayner” Fulgham, Sr. 63, of Donnelsville, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026. He was born March 10, 1963, in Norfolk, VA, the son of the late James and Marilyn (King) Fulgham. Wayner was a veteran of the US Air Force. He worked as an LPN at Ohio Masonic Home and Oakwood Village. Wayner enjoyed watching college football, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes and VA Tech Hokies. Before her passing Wayner and Patty would go fishing, antiquing and regularly traveling to Gatlinburg or a beach. He loved being a grandpa and never took time with them for granted. Wayner is survived by his children David (Fiancée Ashley Baker) Fulgham, II and Samantha Ayers; grandchildren Ally Bug, Lexi Lou, Lucy Goose, and Lottie Bug; brothers Sammy (Peggy) Fulgham, Jimmy Fulgham, and Chris Fulgham; sister Terri Jones; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 11am-1pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Ferncliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio State James Cancer Hospital. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.trostelchapman.com.
