David E. Cottrell

David E. Cottrell, 69, of New Carlisle passed away Friday, January 20, 2017. He was born May 7, 1947 in Springfield, the son of the late Cyerl & Maude (Miller) Cottrell. David enjoyed music, especially playing the keyboard. He spent many years as a barber and enjoyed woodworking. David is preceded in death by his wife Jo Ellen Cottrell; brothers Floyd and Leonard. He is survived by his son David C. (Ava) Cottrell; step-son John (Tarasa) McCluskey; step-daughter Kriston (Maurice) Fannon; sister Joyce Smith; grandchildren Skylar Cottrell, Hope Funderburg and Rose Puig. A funeral service to honor David will be Tuesday at 7:00 PM in the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, with visitation beginning at 5:00 PM.
