Daniel L. Ralston

Daniel L. Ralston, age 63, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away on September 22, 2026.

Daniel was born on October 2, 1962, in Muncie, Indiana. He spent his life in Indiana and Ohio and found great happiness in his later years with the love of his life, Lisa Knox. Together, they were so happy to have found their “forever home”, where they could build a life together and enjoy the simple things that meant the most.

Daniel was spirited, outspoken, and never afraid to stand up for himself or for Lisa. He was a strong advocate for the people and things he cared about and had a personality that made him uniquely Daniel. He was also a man who loved deeply, had a strong spirit, and found lasting happiness and companionship with Lisa.

Daniel was a Christian who found comfort in his faith. He enjoyed reading his Bible and especially loved having it read to him. Daniel also enjoyed watching true crime programs and looked forward to trips to the Smoky Mountains, a place he loved visiting.

Daniel will be remembered most for the life he shared with Lisa, and the home they made together. He is survived by Lisa, his love and companion who was by his side and shared his life and home with him.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Richards, Raff, and Dunbar Memorial Home, 838 East High Street, Springfield. Funeral services officiated by Rev. Dick McIntosh will follow at noon. Daniel will be laid to rest at South Vienna Cemetery.
