Daniel C. Lawrence, Sr.

Daniel C. “Dan” Lawrence, Sr., 71, of Sidney, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025. He was born on September 29, 1953, in Piqua, the son of the late Hal and Bessie Lawrence. Dan was a motorcycle enthusiast, having owned over 20 Harley Davidsons during his life. He enjoyed motorcycle trips all over the United States, that he would take with his wife Deb. Dan also enjoyed boating on Lake Loramie and traveling to many different Flea Markets. He is survived by his wife of 17 years Debra “Deb” (Jordon) Lawrence; son Daniel C. (Shelly) Lawrence; grandchildren Olivia and Andrew Lawrence; sisters Linda Clow and Sandra Johnson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dan is preceded in death by his parents; brother Robert Johnson; and sister Loretta Johnson. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 12-1pm with the funeral to honor Dan beginning at 1:00pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.
